Regulated facilities for this position include, but are not limited to, general and special hospitals, psychiatric hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, end-stage renal disease (dialysis) facilities, special care facilities, birthing centers, and abortion facilities (legal), freestanding emergency medical centers, rural health clinics, and community mental health centers. Under the direction of the Regional Director (RD), this position performs complex managerial work as an Assistant Regional Director for Health Facility Compliance (HFC) in the Health Care Regulation (HCR) department of the Regulatory Services Division at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC).
