Visiting Angels of Stamford, CT is seeking an experienced caregiver to work 4 hour short shifts.   Why Visiting Angels? <ul><li>Short Shifts are $20/hour for weekdays & $21/hour on weekends, depending on the case</li><li>4 hour short shifts - Mornings or Afternoons </li><li>Wages paid every Friday</li><li>PTO</li><li>401K (with up to 4% employer match!) </li><li>Opportunities for training and advancement </li><li>Organized staff, who provides timely employee feedback </li><li>Positively influence the lives of others in your community </li></ul>Position Responsibilities:<ul><li>Offer both companionship and non-medical support to seniors in their own homes </li><li>Provide transportation for client to doctor's appointments and errands </li><li>Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transfers   </li><li>Provide medication reminders </li><li>Complete light housekeeping duties and meal preparation duties </li><li>Perform grocery shopping and provide client with transportation to errands and doctor's appointments </li></ul>Job Requirements:<ul><li>In need of both male and female caregivers who are able to lift/transfer patients of 125-195 lbs </li><li>Must be willing to work 4 hour short shifts in mornings or evenings </li><li>Must have valid driver's license and car </li><li>Hoyer Lift Experience Preferred</li><li>Must be at least 18+ years of age </li><li>Must be legally authorized to work within the United States </li><li>Must have current PPD and physical </li><li>Self-directed, with the ability to work independently </li><li>Alzheimer's/Dementia experience a plus </li></ul>About Visiting Angels of Stamford, CT Visiting Angels is the leading provider of essential personal home care services and in-home care services in the nation.
