Responsible for the technical work product of the Stress Analysis Group, as well as work assignments, manpower planning, project and engineering status, project bid support, employee training, mentorship and coaching of team members, Establish annual group and individual goals, preparing and giving out performance reviews, and management of overhead budgets. The Stress Analysis Manager reports to the Senior Manager of Flight Sciences Engineering and oversees a team of approximately 8 to 12 engineers responsible for analysis, modeling, and testing to ensure compliance with airworthiness structural requirements, ensuring safety of flight, and meeting program cost and schedule targets.
