Ideal candidates will demonstrate the following qualities: Interest in exploring a career in government finance; Proficiency in data analysis and facility with Microsoft Office Excel; Readiness to learn government software systems, including Tyler Munis, Open Gov, and TrueComp; Ability to track and make progress on multiple assignments; Solid written and oral communication skills; Candidates with education or experience in municipal budgets, public administration, financial planning, analysis, reporting, budgeting, and/or accounting are desired, but not required. As a member of the Finance Department, you will utilize its financial ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and Budgeting systems, engage with multiple City departments, and support the Controller and the Budget Team through its biennial cycle.
