A Material manager: manages the flow of materials into and out of the plant(s) and associated warehouses; monitors purchasing practices and order management, including vendor consignments; and coordinates with the shipping department to ensure accurate on time receipt and delivery of goods to support plant service levels. Owning the site(s) MRP process, reporting and inventory practices, including, but not limited to, purchase order mgmt., inventory levels, cycle counts, physical inventories, POV, SLOB, Non/Critical Availability and overall health across the inventory portfolio.
