The University of Akron, Department of Finance, is seeking to fill the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Practice/Instruction (Non-Tenure Track), and Director, in the Financial Planning program beginning either Spring or Fall semester of 2027 (January or August of 2027) to teach undergraduate courses in the following areas: financial literacy, financial planning, retirement planning, estate planning, and the financial planning capstone course. Required Qualifications: A master’s degree or terminal degree with a minimum of five (5) years’ working or teaching experience in financial planning, retirement planning, or wealth management.
