In addition to developing, encouraging, and leading college-wide faculty professional development, the assistant dean also co-chairs a faculty committee that ensures quality and commonality in course design and course delivery (including provision for regular and substantive interaction) and for supporting academic integrity. Priorities include implementation of training related to academic technologies (including classroom technologies and use of the LMS in all instructional modalities), general instruction (including student learning, student engagement, assessment, and growth-mindset strategies), and the support for equity in access, instruction, and learning outcomes.
