POSSIBLE HEALTH RISKS SPECIFIC TO THIS POSITION Shelter staff are exposed to adverse environmental conditions, such as dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, weather, temperature and noise extremes, hazardous materials, traffic hazards, toxic chemicals, animal/wildlife attacks, animal/human bites, disease, pathogenic substances, and angry and possibly armed and violent customers.
