Specific duties will vary depending on assignments and the needs of the department but may include the following: • Supervise or assist with supervision of 4-16 paraprofessionals • Assist with the recruitment, selection, and training of student staff • Participate in on-call duty rotation, providing 24-hour crisis response • Coordinate and facilitate the residential curriculum • Advise leadership council • Promote restorative justice through educational conversations • Assist with or coordinate front desk operations • Assist with or coordinate housing operations, including follow-up on maintenance needs, as well as maintaining key control and room condition reports • Assist with opening, closing, and finals week activities • Participate in the on-call duty rotation and maintain availability and visibility during non-business hours for night, weekend, and holiday programming and events. Under the guidance and supervision of the Associate Director of Residential Life as well as a designated Resident Director, the Graduate Resident Director will support residence hall operations in areas including but not limited to: • Residential programming • Student staff supervision • Facility oversight.
