Scholarly Activities (research/writing, abstracts, grant supported work, presentations, etc.): Like all OHSU faculty members, Assistant and Associate Professors are expected to have some scholarly activity; this may be limited to educating learners as outlined below, but may also include research, and other grant supported work or academic papers and presentations in disciplines related to their field of expertise. The Assistant or Associate Professor is a member of the OHSU Professional Staff practicing in accordance with the respective bylaws, and shall provide inpatient and outpatient clinical services at OHSU and OHSU Health partner sites as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university''s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service.
