The teacher, 7-12 band, strings/orchestra, or choral music, under moderate supervision, performs instructional work with limited decision-making discretion related to instructing classes in band, orchestra, or music and assists students in the development of instrumental techniques, music reading, and performance. Knowledge of various learning styles, curriculum development, program evaluation, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis, and research related to learning.
