The Plant Operations Manager is responsible for managing and performing highly skilled technical operations and maintenance work in the installation, service, and repair of central plant and auxiliary heating and air-conditioning systems and related equipment, medium voltage electrical distribution gear, exterior low voltage distribution, and lighting, emergency generation systems, natural gas distribution, and supports other Physical Plant departments as needed. Responsibilities include the efficient operation and maintenance of the university's utilities equipment, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of heating and airconditioning systems, medium voltage electrical distribution gear, exterior low voltage distribution and lighting, emergency generation systems, natural gas distribution equipment, controls systems to operate the plant and supported facilities, and manage the assigned CMMS tool in use at the site.
