Knowledge of: Principles, practices, and techniques of governmental budgeting and accounting, and management; Principles and procedures of program budgeting techniques, public finance, budgeting, and budgeting control; Municipal and governmental functions and organizations; Methods of program management and supervision; Business computer user applications, particularly as related to statistical analysis, financial reporting, and data management; Financial/statistical/comparative analysis techniques and formulae; Methods of administrative, organizational, and economic analyses; Principles and practices of supervision; Legislative process and policy-setting procedures; and. Under administrative direction, performs highly responsible and professional work in planning, directing, and analyzing programs and activities related to the formulation and execution of the City's Financial Plan, long-range budget projections, and Annual Budget; oversees investment, and purchasing operations; performs highly advanced and complex analytical work on a wide array of projects and programs designed to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of City operations; and perform other work as assigned.
