Working closely with the ULAR Director and veterinary, husbandry, research, and administrative leadership, the ULAR Business Manager ensures that the program has the financial and administrative infrastructure necessary to support uninterrupted animal care, research activities, regulatory and accreditation requirements, and continued program growth. The ULAR Business Manager provides strategic and operational business management for the University Laboratory Animal Resources department, overseeing financial management, budgeting, procurement, cost recovery, personnel and position administration, contracts, vendor relationships, and resource planning.
