The Splicer position is a mid-level to senior level construction worker that can perform both aerial and underground cable and fiber installation work, splice fiber, and has a good working knowledge of aerial and underground rules and regulations., the Fiber Technician will be expected to undertake a lead and/or a foreman role in the field for both aerial and underground fiber related work. In Addition, technician will be working with DWDM light meters, OSAM's, tunable light sources, OTDR, CWDM, DWDM, single channel and mux wave management, piggy backed parent/child enclosure setups, FTTu, FTTh, RFoG, Matrix CREATION, Fiber as-built's and terminology.
