Collaborates with the Director of Laboratory Services, Medical Director, Medical Staff, Nursing Staff, other hospital staff members, and staff from supported outreach locations on issues related to management of care, specimen collection, and customer service to ensure quality patient care delivery. The position assists the Medical Director with the technical and scientific oversight of transfusion medicine, while helping the Director assure continuous, reliable, day-to-day operation of the department, including phlebotomy, anatomic pathology, and outreach services.
