Additionally, in this position, the incumbent serves in an on-call response rotation one weekday night each week, weekends and holidays; responds to and investigates collisions/accidents/incidents and provides written and verbal investigation results to management, and assists in recommending corrective actions that reduce accidents, injuries, and rules violations. Work may also be conducted in outdoor environments, at construction sites, Railroad Track and Right-of-Way environments, and warehouse environments, with possible exposure to individuals who are hostile or irate, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises (85+ decibels, such as heavy trucks, construction, etc.).
