Supports the leadership and oversight of Capital Projects and Operations and supervises and supports the planning and implementation of major capital projects and the delivery of operational services, facilities use, emergency preparedness, and other assigned functions; ensures these services are safe, effective, efficient, and responsive to the needs of schools and departments and keeps the Superintendent informed of significant cost, schedule, scope, legal, operational, or community issues. Essential Functions Include: Responsible for annual budget development process, administration and long-range financial planning for the District, including developing, implementing, and facilitating processes for establishing baseline and comparative data, assessing needs, gathering input, analyzing options, creating scenarios, facilitating discussions, presenting drafts, soliciting feedback, presenting proposals, and getting approvals.
