Perform and manage skills including arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, ventilator management, and interpretation of dysrhythmias. The mixed-acuity ICU/PCU unit is a 24-bed, medically focused unit supported by an interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries.
