Medical Cardiac ICU (36 beds) and Overflow ICU (12 beds) treat sepsis, DKA, flu, ARDS, vascular surgeries, CVICU cases including on and off pump CABG, valves, post-caths, TAVR, IABP, Impella, ECMO, Tandem heart, and esophagectomies. • Surgical ICU (32 beds) treats Level 1 trauma patients including falls, GSW, blunt trauma, MVAs, and trauma patients over age 15, as well as ex-lap, craniotomy, specialty neuro-surgery cases, CVA, status post-TPA, sepsis, and ARDS.
