McCarty Center patients are admitted for a 30-day evaluation during which they are assigned a treatment team consisting of nursing unit, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, nutritional services, social services, psychological services, behavioral analysis, and recreational therapy. Physical demands may include assisting with lifting, holding, or positioning clients with disabilities, sitting or stooping on the floor for extended periods of time, standing or bending over repeatedly throughout the day, and assisting with living skills such as feeding, toileting, showering and/or dressing.
