The role develops category and supplier strategies for direct materials, packaging, ingredients, commodities, and indirect goods and services; partners cross-functionally to support production, customer requirements, and profitable growth; and builds a high-performing, data-driven procurement team. The role may require periodic time on the production floor, in refrigerated areas, loading docks, or storage areas where temperatures, noise levels, forklift traffic, wet floors, and food-safety controls may be present.
