The Trauma Program LCSW is an integral member of the multidisciplinary Trauma team and provides comprehensive psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, patient and family support, resource coordination, behavioral health linkage, longitudinal follow-up, and discharge planning for injured patients across the continuum of care. Collaborate closely with Trauma Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Nursing, Utilization Management, Rehabilitation, Behavioral Health, Addiction Services, and other clinical services to address psychosocial barriers affecting recovery, safety, adherence, disposition, and reintegration into the community.
