QUALIFICATIONS • Associate degree in manufacturing, machining technology, or completion of a full apprenticeship preferred, or equivalent experience• Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a fully qualified machinist (depending on skill depth)• Proficiency in CNC programming (conversational or G-code/CAM)• Strong understanding of machining theory, metal cutting principles, tool geometry, and machine dynamics• Ability to read and interpret advanced engineering documentation and models• Demonstrated success operating and setting up multiple machine types• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities• Excellent communication skills with production and engineering teams• Team player who measures success by total output, not just individual performance• Ability to work independently, prioritize workloads, and meet tight deadlines. PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT • Regular exposure to machining noise, coolant, water, metals, adhesives, and industrial equipment in a warehouse environment• Standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs with reasonable accommodation• Exposure to chemical and production smells (adhesives, lubricants, and rubber hose materials) typical of a hydraulic fabrication area• Use of PPE for frequent handling of parts and materials with sharp edges or heavy components• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate safely around industrial equipment• Must comply with all facility safety protocols and ITAR-access restrictions• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
