Work is performed in a variety of athletic and school settings, including gymnasiums, fields, tracks, courts, stadiums, weight rooms, locker rooms, classrooms, buses, and off-site competition venues. QUALIFICATIONS: A coach for a WVSSAC sport must be certified as a teacher (or substitute) in the State of WV or complete the National Federal Interscholastic Coaches Education Program as endorsed by the WVSSAC and the State Board of Education, and receive a coaching authorization issued by the WV Department of Education.
