Provides healthcare services to patients which may include: comprehensive care during acute and chronic episodes of injury and illness, follow up care during post-hospital clinic appointments, education and counseling of families, health promotion and prevention, and referral to other health care providers and community resources when appropriate. APP will be expected provide comprehensive health assessments, determine diagnoses, implement treatment plans, perform procedures, and prescribe medicines and treatments.
