Level of supervision is dependent upon experience, demonstrated competency, and certification level: entry/junior staff perform work under closer supervision with more prescribed procedures and review, while more advanced officers exercise greater independent judgment, handle more complex investigations, and support division-level consistency, coordination, and mentoring. The Code Compliance Officer performs specialized investigative, enforcement, compliance, and public service work related to the enforcement of the Town's Land Development Code, local ordinances, zoning requirements, public nuisance regulations, and related municipal codes.
