Outpatient Pharmacist InsightOutpatient PharmacistProvides professional review, quality control checks, and/or direct provision of service for: all unit dose packaging program, all admixtures and sterile products including formulation, stability and sterility consideration, extemporaneous compounds, medication order entry, floor stock orders and controlled substances. 3. Monitors all new medication orders against the patient’s medication profile for contraindications, drug–drug interactions, drug–food interactions, drug–laboratory test interactions, allergies, and appropriateness of drug, dose route, frequency, and therapeutic duplications.
