Conduct field walkdowns and analyze field information, and 3D point cloud/laser scan data where available, to identify existing piping, equipment, structure, and interferences, and use that data to design accurate replacement or modified piping runs for new construction, refit, and ship repair work. Develop and route piping systems in AutoCAD Plant 3D or comparable 3D software, including pipe, fittings, flanges, valves, supports, and equipment connections for shipboard systems such as fuel oil, ballast, fire main, chilled water, and propulsion piping.
