The opportunity:
Responsible to lead quality process for Eden Distribution Center, assuring quality management system, characteristics, objectives and initiatives are executed aligned to global quality strategy and business objectives. The role<ul><li>Meet the Gildan quality system (GQS) requirements.<ul><li>Understanding by quality system: Documentation, work method, and internal and external customer expectations related to a process, product or service.</li></ul></li><li>Execute and make sure the dispositions of Environment, Health and Safety are being complied.</li><li>Develop continuous training guidelines for Eden DC Quality Team to define clear specification to process and product needs.</li><li>Generate and monitor quality reports for Eden DC to review performance indicators and highlights of priorities.</li><li>Define and execute action plans to align process and characteristics to meet defined targets and standards.</li><li>Contribute to Eden DC Management’s overall strategic operational plans in order to support with a quality plan to meet monthly and yearly results.</li><li>Develop quality procedures, guidelines and other documents to communicate quality specifications, strategy and objectives such as quality specifications for DC auditing purposes.</li><li>Report Customer complaints into Global Customer complaint site/management.</li><li>Communicate to Global Quality team continuously to escalate any high priority based on any quality complaint returned to Eden DC.</li><li>Keep up to date any Product specifications, reports of plant performance, customer contacts and information, corporate processes and procedures, employee information.</li><li>Reach out to customers on product performance issues reported to Eden when needed in collaboration with Customer Reps and Global Quality team</li><li>Assess and provide feedback to resolve the issue with the customer and coordinate with manufacturing to address product and quality issues.</li><li>Provide direct supervision and support to the Returns Lead.</li><li>Coordinate and assure replacement of goods conforming to quality and product specification to avoid a second complaint on any returned inventory.</li><li>Oversee incoming audit to goods at Eden DC as defined or required to follow up on any quality characteristics to assure inventory consistency.</li><li>Provide feedback, quality alerts, and reporting to manufacturing, sales, marketing, and management for customer product issues and inquires. Follow up to ensure that corrective actions are put in place by manufacturing.</li><li>Oversee the daily operations of Quality department including contract rework and/or storage, embellishment programs, and “odds” inventory.</li><li>Maintain log with daily follow-up features.</li><li>Provide data support to Global Quality team and Quality Assurance Manager direct supervisor.</li><li>Special projects as assigned by Quality Assurance Manager and/or Global Quality team.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs</li></ul>The requirement<ul><li> Industrial Engineer, Business Administration or similar career preferred</li><li>Additional Quality education is a plus</li><li>Bilingual (Spanish, English) preferably but not required</li><li>+5 Years, preferably experience managing personnel</li><li>Apparel industry experience (Activewear ideally)</li><li>Printwear experience and knowledge</li><li>Experience troubleshooting screen printing issues</li><li>Quality Assurance management experience</li><li>Highly skilled with Ms Office packs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint). The position is responsible for coordinating daily operations, supporting facilities and grounds personnel, managing departmental systems and records, overseeing administrative processes, and ensuring the efficient delivery of maintenance, grounds, housekeeping, transportation, and related campus services. This individual will proactively develop systems, establish written procedures, maintain operational records, strengthen departmental effectiveness, and build team capability while exercising sound fiscal stewardship and supporting the mission of the college.

Position Summary Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, the Operations Administrator provides administrative leadership and operational oversight for the college's Physical Plant Division. The position is responsible for coordinating daily operations, supporting facilities and grounds personnel, managing departmental systems and records, overseeing administrative processes, and ensuring the efficient delivery of maintenance, grounds, housekeeping, transportation, and related campus services. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and problem solver who fosters a culture of professionalism, accountability, teamwork, customer service, and continuous improvement. This individual will proactively develop systems, establish written procedures, maintain operational records, strengthen departmental effectiveness, and build team capability while exercising sound fiscal stewardship and supporting the mission of the college. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Leadership and Operational Management • Provide day-to-day administrative leadership for the Physical Plant Department. • Coordinate and support managers and supervisors responsible for facilities, maintenance, grounds, transportation, and related operational areas. • Manage and oversee daily departmental workflow and operational priorities. • Establish and maintain a positive working environment that promotes professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and customer service. • Develop departmental structure, continuity, and operational effectiveness through clear expectations and documented procedures. • Build team capability through effective communication, organization, and support. • Proactively identify opportunities for operational improvement and implement solutions in a cost-conscious manner. • Establish and maintain written policies, procedures, workflows, and operational manuals to ensure continuity and knowledge transfer. Administrative Oversight • Serve as the primary administrative point of contact for the Physical Plant Department. • Manage departmental communications, including the Physical Plant email account and other correspondence. • Maintain records and information in formats that can be readily shared with campus stakeholders. • Manage and oversee the College's work order management system to ensure timely response and       completion of requests. • Coordinate campus visits involving vendors, contractors, consultants, and service providers. • Coordinate operational activities with contracted housekeeping services. • Manage apartment rental assignments and related records. • Oversee the College van fleet, including scheduling, utilization records, maintenance coordination, and   compliance requirements. • Manage departmental inventory, equipment records, and supply tracking. Financial Management • Initiate and approve purchase orders in accordance with College policies and budgetary guidelines. • Review and approve invoices for payment. • Maintain financial records necessary for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and reconciliation. • Assist with preparation and monitoring of departmental budgets. • Work collaboratively with the Business Office to ensure accurate financial reporting and fiscal accountability. • Promote cost-effective operations and responsible stewardship of College resources. Personnel Administration • Oversee employee timecards and payroll documentation. • Manage records related to employee vacation requests, personal leave, and sick leave. • Coordinate student employment assignments and related administrative processes. • Assist supervisors in maintaining staffing schedules and operational coverage. • Ensure personnel records are maintained in accordance with College policies and applicable regulations. Safety, Compliance, and Risk Management • Maintain records related to safety training, certifications, inspections, regulatory compliance, and operational requirements. • Support departmental compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and institutional regulations. • Promote and reinforce safe work practices throughout the department. • Attend safety meetings and other campus meetings as required to facilitate communication and implementation of operational initiatives. • Assist in coordinating emergency response activities and after-hours operational support. Facilities and Energy Management Support • Support campus energy management initiatives and operational efficiency efforts. • Assist with monitoring facility performance and identifying opportunities for improvement. • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective operation and maintenance of campus facilities and infrastructure. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree required. • Three to five years of progressively responsible administrative, facilities, operations, project management, or related experience. • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. • Strong organizational and recordkeeping abilities. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and computerized management systems. • Ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, students, contractors, vendors, and external partners. • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, accountability, customer service, and continuous improvement. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in higher education, facilities management, operations administration, or physical plant operations. • Experience with work order management systems, purchasing processes, budgeting, payroll administration, inventory management, or contractor coordination. • Knowledge of regulatory compliance, safety practices, and facilities operations. Working Conditions and Expectations • Workday begins no later than 7:00 a.m. • This position may require occasional evening and weekend work. • Physical Plant employees are designated as essential personnel and are expected to report to work in accordance with College policy during emergency operations and weather-related events. • The position requires regular travel throughout campus to support operational needs and coordinate activities. Overview Do you have progressive field inspection experience across transportation and building projects and enjoy coordinating with contractors, agencies, and clients while keeping projects on track and well-documented? MBP is looking for a Construction Inspector II to support field compliance, quality assurance, and documentation on active construction projects. Ideal candidates bring demonstrated growth in responsibility inspecting similar work and are ready to represent MBP in daily interactions with contractors, agencies, and project stakeholders. Responsibilities What You''ll Do: Serve as a key MBP representative on active construction sites, verifying conformance with specifications and codes while supporting quality assurance and progress monitoring. Coordinate with agency personnel, contractors, and MBP team members to address discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. Exercise sound judgment in documenting project activities and advising on field issues that affect schedule, budget targets, and compliance. Support development of pay applications and contribute to project record strategies and reporting approaches. Work independently with periodic guidance from senior engineers or project leaders as scope and complexity increase. Responsibilities include: Perform field checks of red-line as-built plans to verify completeness of the plans. Conduct on-site field compliance inspection, quality assurance, and progress monitoring for conformance to specifications and codes at various construction projects. Develop payment applications. Verify that maintenance and new construction conform to contracts, plans, specifications, approved shop drawings, approved material lists, and permit requirements; communicate discrepancies to contractors and advise on actions to meet requirements. Perform required materials testing. Perform basic to moderate surveying and take measurements to check line, grade, and dimensions of roadway and structural elements; advise contractors of discrepancies. Communicate effectively and professionally with agency, contractor, and MBP personnel. Perform final inspection, prepare punchlists, and verify punchlist items are completed or corrected by the contractor. Maintain project records, including daily diaries documenting contractor work (locations of work, workforce, equipment, materials), project photos, and inspection reports; incorporate algebraic, geometric, and trigonometric calculations and associated sketches as needed. Track submittals and requests for information and maintain project correspondence. Perform administrative duties required of MBP team members. Inspect grading projects, paving projects, demolitions projects, special design bridge projects, signal projects, signing projects, coating projects, utility projects, and other special projects as assigned. Research proper inspection and construction methods to prepare for inspection requirements. Review performance of, and assist in the oversight, training, and development of Inspector I, Inspector Trainee, and Interns/Co-ops; provide daily advising of necessary corrective actions to support teamwork, partnering, and project success. Review and/or prepare daily reports for entries to the project diary, as-built plans, materials books, and work books. Prepare and check construction project reports and monthly project estimates; make corrections and forward to appropriate parties. Assist in constructability and biddability reviews. Monitor project budget and schedules. Assist in contractor's monthly evaluations. Provide customer service and courteous communication to the traveling public, adjacent property owners, and other project stakeholders. Complete administrative tasks including daily timesheets, monthly expense reports, and monthly mileage reports. Who We Are Looking For Experience: Progressive experience inspecting construction work activities of similar type to assigned projects, demonstrating increasing responsibility. Experience across sectors such as federal, municipal, K-12 school, higher education, transportation, and ports or marina projects. Background monitoring and inspecting multiple construction operations including buildings, highways, roads, or bridges. Exposure to DOT-specific and horizontal construction environments, including grading, paving, demolitions, special design bridge projects, signal projects, signing projects, coating projects, and utility projects. Qualifications Education/Knowledge: High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED); or significant years of experience in engineering, architecture, or a skilled craft in the construction industry; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Working mathematics including algebraic, geometric, and trigonometric computations based on field measurements. Construction-related training and experience demonstrating ability to perform duties. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, email, internet navigation, web-based tools, and specialized equipment. Client or MBP construction management information systems such as AWP, SiteManager, HICAM, or MBP's OnTrack system, or ability to learn within one month of hire. Construction and inspection materials, methods, and tools utilized in construction, repair, or renovation work being monitored and inspected. Multiple construction operations and associated field practices. Preferred Certifications: OSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour certification (required or obtained within 3 months of hire). Certification(s) from at least one or more of the following: State DOT (as appropriate), WACEL, ICC, NICET, CMAA, NACE, or MARTCP. Obtain and maintain industry certifications specific to assigned duties. Stand and sit as needed on project work sites; climb ladders; work at heights; and work outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions. Safely navigate construction work sites with uneven terrain. Maintain a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Travel and drive regularly. Guidance/Responsibility: Assignments received from Engineers/Consultants (typically Lead or Senior), Project Inspectors, Construction Manager, or Project Manager. Public and client interface as part of daily duties. Independence increases as knowledge, skills, and abilities grow; work independently while seeking periodic guidance and direction. Supervisory: May supervise and coordinate the work of Construction Inspector I, Construction Inspector Trainees, and Co-ops/Interns.
