Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop new business and achieve sales goals through independent and joint calling efforts with prospective and existing customers throughout the Mid-Michigan marketBuild a strong understanding of each customer's business, working capital needs, and financial processes to recommend appropriate Treasury Management solutionsPrepare and present customized customer proposals, including pricing and competitive analysis, and conduct Treasury Reviews to identify additional opportunitiesPartner with Commercial Bankers and Branch Managers to support customer retention, cross-selling efforts, and Treasury Management referralsWhy Mercantile Bank? RequirementsAt least three years of banking experience, with Treasury Management experience preferredA bachelor's degree, an industry-recognized certification considered equivalent to a degree, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experienceKnowledge of Treasury Management products, services, and technologyStrong sales, relationship-building, customer service, and communication skillsCertified Treasury Professional, or CTP, designation preferred.
