Laboratory Quality Assurance Technician AstrionLaboratory Quality Assurance TechnicianKennedy Space Center, FL, FloridaProvide quality assurance support to the CRCA project to include: Monitoring hydrostat and disassembly operations, decontamination operations, reassembly of functional components and bubble point tests, reassembly/reinstallation operations on systems, particle counts performed by Clean Room Technicians; Monitoring flow booth and clean room controls (temperature, humidity, pressure, cleanliness, particle contamination), performing hazardous vapor detection as required and reporting out-of-specification conditions; Witness processes performed on flight hardware, hydraulic functional tests and final leak tests; Verify equipment cleanliness during hookup and disassembly of equipment on field cleaning jobs; Verify cleaning operations are in compliance with procedures and verifications; Perform NVR determinations, microscopic determinations, particle counts on samples, Halogen and dewpoint tests, final inspection of components such as tubing, flexhose and piping systems; Perform analyses with use of analytical instrumentation; Perform documentation and reporting of minor discrepancies, daily monitoring and test data with use of computer; Perform hydrocarbon and moisture monitoring with use of analytical meters; Perform inspections in confined spaces and at elevations when required.
