p>Internally, the Vice Dean serves as an ongoing chair or member of multiple administrative committees supporting the school, and regularly meets with the UWSOD Faculty Council, Department Chairs, and UWSOD faculty, staff and students to advise, update, and gather feedback on financial and business operations as well as multiple current or future projects. The Vice Dean has indirect reporting oversight for seven department administrators who manage finance, staffing, and business operations supporting eight academic departments and associated clinical operations, and the Associate Dean for Facilities Infrastructure and Development with respect to capital development, project management, space assignment, and maintenance and repair of school facilities.
