Provides optimal nutrition care to patients and residents through screening of nutritional status, assessing nutritional needs, developing and implementing appropriate nutritional support, monitoring, adherence and response to nutritional care plans, educates patients and families, and serves as a source of nutrition information for the department, hospital and the community. Ability to generate, read, interpret, and take action as it relates to basic financial statements, national and state regulations, safety rulings, operational and maintenance and organizational policies / procedures & recipes.
