Responsibilities • Builds and leverages a strong partnership with cross-functional teams to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance objectives in a matrix organizational environment • Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, risk/opportunity management, identifies and resolves complex program problems • Identifying, allocating and managing program resources, including workforce planning • Cultivates a positive employee experience in a high-pressure environment by focusing on engagement, recognition, retention initiatives and professional development • Demonstrates strong communication skills to deliver executive briefings internally and externally to customers, leaders and other program stakeholders • Cultivates customer relationships and intimacy to develop further opportunities within the customer community • Develops business area strategies and new business opportunities that are consistent with Division/ Sector priorities to drive consistent growth for the operating area • Participates in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, schedule milestones, and key terms and conditions • Driving predictable program performance, including regular measurement and management of key performance metrics. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree 12 or more years of program management or related experience; OR Master's degree with 10 or more years of program management or related experience • Profit & Loss experience with an integrated program team • Proposal leadership experience • Demonstrated success leading teams and/or organizations to achieve a common goal, exceptional collaboration skills in a matrix environment • Experience leading and executing in demanding high visibility roles with evidence of being able to create an inclusive work environment that attracts retains and inspires diverse engaged teams • Demonstrated ability to foster existing customer relationships and develop new customer relationships • Experience leading DoW programs • Demonstrated ability to develop and drive strategy, and critical thinking to resolve complex problems • Experience generating and briefing senior level (i.e. executives) internal and external stakeholders • Ability to travel up to 25% Must be a US citizen with an Active DoW Secret Clearance and ability to obtain special access clearances; Or DoE equivalent and ability to obtain special access clearances.
