Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. <ul><li> Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. </li><li> We provide physician level wound management training and a wound fellowship giving you all the knowledge and expertise for clinical excellence. </li><li> W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits. </li><li> Appreciate the autonomy and flexibility in our work schedules, routinely a 45 hour work week for full time positions. </li><li> Paid Training </li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li> Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice </li><li> Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week. </li></ul> Practice Overview: <ul><li> Full time work: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) or part time available. </li><li> No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities. </li><li> Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. </li><li> Our physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility. </li><li> Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week. Full time role is 4 - 5 days per week. </li><li> This is a mobile practice: The physicians visit facilities in a mile radius of practice location. </li><li> Our physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients per day. </li><li> Clinical documentation is at point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using our proprietary wound specific EMR. </li><li> Paid Training is provided during onboarding + 6 months wound care fellowship </li><li> W2 employment contract (No work visa sponsorship is available)</li></ul> Benefits: <ul><li> Full health and retirement benefits provided. </li><li> Medical Malpractice with tail is provided. </li><li> Mileage reimbursement. </li></ul>

MEDICAL DIRECTOR Administrative (75%) Clinical (25%)Salary: $250,000 - $300,000*Plus, additional income from weekly patient encounters* Position OverviewAmeriWound is seeking an experienced and visionary Medical Director to join our Senior Executive Team. This role provides strategic clinical leadership and oversight across all affiliated providers and clinical departments.The Medical Director establishes the organization's overall clinical vision and ensures excellence in wound care delivery, education, quality assurance, compliance, and credentialing. This executive-level and clinical leadership role involves driving superior, provider performance, regulatory compliance, while advancing innovative clinical programs.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Leadership & Oversight<ul><li>Lead and direct all Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers contracted with AmeriWound and its physician affiliates.</li><li>APP Supervision (as needed) as per state regulations.</li><li>Establish and direct the overall clinical vision and strategy for the organization.</li><li>Ensure continuity, quality, and compliance of wound care services across all markets.</li><li>Develop and direct patient care protocols, policies, and clinical best practices.</li><li>Develop and oversee infection control policies and hold providers accountable for compliance.</li><li>Lead innovative clinical initiatives, including telemedicine, biologics and clinical advancement programs.</li><li>Conducts limited weekly rounding presence in skilled nursing facilities to ensure clinical continuity and oversight.</li></ul> Provider Education, Performance & Accountability<ul><li>Direct and oversee the Wound Education Department, clinical audits, and compliance programs.</li><li>Conduct monthly and quarterly performance reviews with each contracted provider, including:</li><li><ul><li>Provider performance results</li><li>Production metrics</li><li>Provider improvement opportunities</li><li>Provider adherence to company policies and collaboration standards</li></ul></li><li>Conduct coaching, counseling, and performance improvement plans as needed.</li><li>Lead – Manage – Assign monthly provider calls/meetings.</li><li>Discipline or terminate underperforming providers when necessary.</li><li>Develop and administer scope of practice requirements and credentialing standards.</li></ul>Recruitment & Credentialing<ul><li>Collaborate with recruitment efforts.</li><li>Interview referred provider candidates and provide feedback in a timely manner.</li><li>Oversee provider credentialing and required compliance audits.</li></ul>Quality Assurance & Compliance<ul><li>Direct AmeriWound's Clinical Wound Care Education team and provide clinical oversight for AmeriWound Quality Assurance programs.</li><li>Provide written and verbal feedback to providers, Regional Managers, Wound Care Education team, and Senior Executives.</li><li>Develop and administer clinical practices aligned with medical federal, state, and payer regulations.</li><li>Develop and maintain policies protecting patient rights.</li><li>Ensure HIPAA compliance across clinical operations.</li></ul> Business Development & External Relations<ul><li>Periodically participate in client and prospective client presentations and meetings.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, client skilled nursing and other long-term care facilities, and other potential partners.</li><li>Participate in meetings with insurers and managed care payors as necessary.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO.</li></ul>QualificationsEducation & Licensure<ul><li>Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree required.</li><li>Active State of Ohio MD or DO license required.</li><li>Current DEA certificate required.</li><li>Board Certification preferred.</li><li>Current CPR certification required.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior supervisory or medical leadership experience required.</li><li>Previous medical office or wound care experience preferred.</li><li>Understanding of long-term care regulations preferred but not required.</li><li>Strong understanding of HIPAA and healthcare compliance.</li><li>Experience with clinical audits, quality assurance, and provider performance management preferred.</li></ul>Skills & Competencies<ul><li>Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication abilities.</li><li>High-level interpersonal and leadership skills.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and hold providers accountable.</li><li>Strong understanding of ethics, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.</li></ul>
