Direct and/or support functional testing of building mechanical systems, including (as applicable) HVAC airside systems (AHUs, RTUs, FCUs, VAVs, exhaust systems), hydronic systems (pumps, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, heat exchangers), temperature controls/BAS, valve and damper operations, and associated sequences of operation. You will collaborate with the design team and construction partners; witness and document static, startup, and functional performance testing of complex mechanical, plumbing, fire/life-safety interfaces (as applicable), and controls systems; and verify operation in normal, maintenance, and failure modes.
