POSITION DESCRIPTION: Northwestern Regional High School, a small, rural, suburban high school ranked by the State of Connecticut as a "School of Distinction" and a "National Blue Ribbon School", is seeking a teacher to fill a technology education long-term substitute position with the following qualifications: A Technology Education Teacher with a 047 teaching endorsement who specializes in the following areas preferred: graphics, video production, and 3-D Home Design (program: Chief Architect). Beginning on the eleventh (11th) working day, compensation converts to a prorated daily rate based on the BA-1 step of the current Northwestern Teachers Association (NTA) salary schedule, with placement subject to flexibility based on the candidates relevant experience and qualifications.
