Job Responsibilities: Coordinate timely and complete inspection, testing and maintenance of the physical environment and equipment that comprise building life safety systems, including but not limited to emergency power supply, fire alarm and protection, air handling, medical gas and vacuum, elevators, cooling towers, fire/smoke doors and building automation for survey-readiness by The Joint Commission, NYS-DOH and other authorities having jurisdiction. Recommend appropriate corrective actions to leaders for compliance and safety-related issues, including resolving issues internally, escalating concerns, or coordinating with vendors and other appropriate parties to facilitate timely and effective resolution.
