SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Food Handler Card, as required by applicable state or local regulations; Prior cashier, customer service, retail, bakery, pastry, or food service experience preferred; Ability to operate a cash register, scanner, scale, telephone, and other department equipment as assigned; Basic math skills and ability to handle cash, make change, and follow transaction procedures accurately; Strong customer service, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills; Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed in a retail grocery environment with exposure to bakery and pastry products, refrigerated or heated display areas, cleaning supplies, and varying customer traffic levels.
