The OB/GYN Laborist Role A is an in-house position which ensures that safe, high quality, evidence-based care is provided to obstetric patients and that hospital resources are managed in a clinically appropriate way.
The prevention of maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality should result from role A’s identification and remediation of any area of clinical concern via collaboration with the members of the obstetric care team which may include:
- Medical students.
Outpatient services include a full-service laboratory; cancer and hematology services; a full complement of medical imaging diagnostic services, included advanced CT and MRI; a tasteful and private Women's Imaging Center complete with 3D mammography, bone density testing, and pelvic and breast ultrasound; comprehensive cardiopulmonary services; rehabilitation services, including cardiac, pulmonary and cancer rehab, in the area's most comprehensive rehab facility; and an array of outpatient surgical procedures. CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required.
