Assistant Finance Director Sharon Public SchoolsAssistant Finance DirectorMA$90,000–$110,000 / yearOversee state, federal, and private grant financial activity: reviewing and submitting Fiscal Approval for grants within DESE's online grants platform, monitor budget vs actual expenditures throughout the year, monthly reconciliation of DESE grant budgets to MUNIS, create MUNIS accounts for grant funds, propose journal entries and other measures to adjust expenses as needed to reconcile with grant approvals, communicate with grant managers, request monthly drawdowns, and complete and submit final grant reports to DESE. JOB GOAL: Support the Assistant Superintendent of Administration and Finance in all aspects of the business operations of the district, including but not limited to budget development and monitoring, accounting and reporting, accounts receivables, grant and revolving fund activity, student activity accounts, scholarship/trusts, maintenance and operations, food services, transportation services, capital projects and procurement.
