strong>Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Oversee the management of project grants, budgets, revenue, expenditures, and contract compliance;
- Supervise a team of analysts with day to day responsibility for project grants, budgets, revenue, expenditures, and contract compliance;
- Work closely with government agencies, private funders, and other outside stakeholders;
- Provide financial review and approval of the Center’s revenue and expense contracts;
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual close and identify adjusting journal entries as need;
- Review and approve vendor invoices, expense reports, and corporate card reconciliations;
- Review and approve invoices to funders;
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and facilitate the collection of payment from funders;
- Reconcile receivable accounts;
- Support the Director with financial duties and special projects as needed; and .
- At least 5-7 years of demonstrable experience and success in nonprofit financial management required;
- At least 1-2 years of prior supervisory experience strongly preferred;
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or other related fields strongly preferred;
- Strong interpersonal communication skills;
- Excellent written and verbal skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is crucial to meet deadlines and manage time effectively;
- Capability to work independently and prioritize tasks to ensure the timely completion of projects;
- Ability to handle sensitive information which requires maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion;
- A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset are essential to foster a collaborative work environment; and .
