Responsible for performing inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm and life safety systems with limited supervision; ability to handle more complex troubleshooting, supports junior technicians, and serves as a knowledgeable field representative for customers and AHJ; works independently in the field, providing high-quality service while maintaining strong customer relationships. Education and/or Experience High school diploma and 3-5+ years of fire alarm service or installation experience; NICET Level II in Fire Alarm Systems preferred (or ability to obtain) or required based on state; solid understanding of fire alarm systems, components, and troubleshooting; working knowledge of NFPA 72, NFPA 70 (NEC), and local AHJ requirements; ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, plans, and specifications.
