Position Responsibilities:** + Manages engineering and technical activities within Flight Engineering and Aerodynamic Performance + Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals + Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical oversight of suppliers, and leads continuous process improvements + Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports + Oversees and approves technical approaches, deliverables, and processes to ensure quality and compliance + Fosters individual and team development through various engagement and mentoring mechanisms + Supports the advancement of core competencies and technical excellence within the Aerodynamic Performance discipline + Motivates and develops employees, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing of best practices and experiences **Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment:** To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** + Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry + 3+ years of experience with commercial airplanes or commercial derivatives + Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership" **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** + 5+ years of experience in the flight sciences / aero-performance domain / weights and/or mass properties engineering.
