The Director will manage the day-to-day operations of the department, supervise all programs offered by the department, develop course schedules, make faculty course assignments, supervise and evaluate department faculty and staff, manage the departmental budget, advise students, review and update departmental curricula, hire and supervise adjunct faculty, work toward the resolution of student complaints, lead the process to pursue or maintain the accreditation of programs, serve on College committees, oversee planning and assessment activities, and perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an institution that holds accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and approved by the College with a master’s degree in nursing, two years related full-time teaching or administrative experience required and a current, active, unencumbered Florida registered nurse license or a multi-state license, approved by the Nurse Licensure Compact, that is inclusive of Florida.
