Truck with plow and/or spreader;
Performs minor maintenance work on equipment, which includes daily checking of zerk fittings and grease when necessary, draining of air brakes, checking fuel and oil levels, steam cleaning throughout, as required;
Reports problems with equipment and documents same;
Wears safety equipment as required;
May be required to operate a truck in the Sewer Maintenance department;
In an emergency, may supervise Laborers in their work assignments when a Supervisor is not available;
Perform related duties as required.
- Applicants must consent to screening requirements of the FMCSA Clearinghouse program (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) in accordance with Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Section 382 as part of the application process for positions requiring a NYS Commercial Drivers License.
