Care includes tracheostomy care, tracheal and oral suctioning as needed, oxygen saturation monitoring, respiratory treatments as ordered, G-tube care and feeding pump support, medication administration through the G-tube, repositioning, personal and incontinence care, skin monitoring, and timely clinical documentation. Follow the care plan for safe transfers and use of the Hoyer lift with caregiver assistance as needed.
