Selection Procedures: After application submission, candidates deemed qualified must complete all subsequent steps to advance in this selection process, which includes the following: • Training and Experience (T&E) Evaluation (Weight: 100%): The Training and Experience Evaluation exam is designed to measure the knowledge, skills, and abilities in job-related areas which may include but not be limited to: Knowledge of current methods and procedures of pharmacies and contemporary pharmacy practice Knowledge of Federal, State and local regulations as related to Pharmacy Ability to supervise and monitor pharmacy staff and its functions and to delegate responsibilities appropriately Ability to develop, plan, schedule, coordinate and evaluate assigned personnel Ability to make decisions, problem solve, prioritize activities, use initiative and act independently Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records Ability to teach, train, and orient individuals in pharmacy operations and procedures, and drug therapy Ability to interact effectively with a diverse customer base Ability to communicate effectively in writing Ability to communicate effectively orally.
