Oversees and directs the day-to-day operations of field staff engaged in street maintenance or repair, drainage and sidewalk construction, street cleaning, markings, installation and/or maintenance of traffic signs, river and ditch maintenance, and/or vegetation management. Working conditions are primarily outside with frequent exposure to temperature extremes, traffic construction dust; damp/wet surfaces, overhead power lines, animal/insect bites, high noise, oily surfaces, liquid asphalt and lime.
